THE WALK
QUESTIONS ASKED | BOOK ONE
A great story! A mixture of Asimov, Dan Brown and the stories of The Bible. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Science Fiction, Adventure & History.

R.G. always argued that this was a godless world.
Where was the evidence of any divine influence? Scientific, verifiable evidence.
But when the engineer’s intended invention fails to squeeze limitless energy from the fabric of the Solar System, he inexplicably lands on an altogether different and fantastic discovery: His invention will allow him to travel back through time.
Ambitions are not without roadblocks, and R.G. finds himself up against a ruthless corporation bent on crushing his invention’s development while stealing the idea.
This existence, this Universe, blindly evolving shows no proof of the religious beliefs his devoted wife holds so dear. But the discoveries unfolding seem to be leading him on a path. A path urging him to go back 2000 years to seek a truth.
Contained within the Qumran caves undisturbed for millennium, R.G.’s journey takes him to a clear event in history that could prove… everything. Each step, each encounter, reveals some new validation of what was for him unbelievable, if not impossible.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

RG is the author of the novel series [Questions Asked], which explores the intersection of science fact and religious thought on a journey to uncover shared truths. He is an accomplished engineer and inventor who has significantly contributed to the design and development of innovations in diverse technologies across multiple industries, and holds unique patents both in the U.S. and internationally. RG lives in Southern California with his wife Jude, who encouraged him to write his first novel, The Walk, after years of putting up with engineering talk, invention works-in-progress, and continuous objections to anything religious.
BLOG
As a scientist, questioning everything is in my nature, as well as inherent to my profession. From this platform, I’ve gazed out over the vistas of some basic religious and scientific ideas, and sought to view them in a different light.
In this blog, I share perspectives and analysis around this theme of science and religion, with the goal of a deeper understanding of questions that have intrigued me. Here I bring together many years of study and experience in both realms to supplement the content presented in the novels.
Examples of the posts include challenges to positions of the renowned physicist Stephen Hawking; the belief that the Bible's creation story opposes the science of evolution; where we go when we die; why so many scientists are atheists, and how can a believer be a scientist.
